CATH LAB/SPECIALS TECHNOLOGIST NEEDED IN MONTANA------We currently have a traveler working the same position at the same facility and he loves it !
START: Mid Dec if possible otherwise Jan 2; 13 weeks
JOB SUMMARY (overview of job): Performs a variety of invasive diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the Special Procedures & Cardiac Cath departments. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI and QA activities.
SHIFT: Primarily Days - Call will be every other F-S-S + ? one day per week. Working schedule negotiable. The Saturday on call can be a scheduled shift. If they would like 32 hours per week that works too.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: One to three years experience in radiographic procedures with emphasis in invasive procedures, required. Previous experience in Special Procedures or Cardiac Cath.
EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited school in Radiology Technology is required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Current Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, required. Registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in CVRT, preferred. A permit to practice as a Radiology Technologist in the State of Montana is required (CAN APPLY for MONTANA LICENSE AFTER OFFER IS MADE}. Licensure in BCLS and ACLS prior to performing procedures on their own is required.
